I wrote my 2025 review a few days ago, and looking back at 2024, 2023, and 2022, I realized something important: a pattern that had existed for years finally stopped.
For the first time in a long while, I didnāt feel like I was on a rollercoaster. The cycles ended, things felt steady, and honestly, that might be the greatest gift 2025 gave me.
As I wrapped up the year, two statements really caught my attention:
No one will come to rescue you
If you donāt sell something, you wonāt have more money
Statement 1: No One Will Come to Rescue You
This statement hit me because it reminded me of how I sometimes stayed relaxed, waiting, hoping, and expecting things to work out somehow. Hope is great, but action makes hope real. Making things happen instead of waiting for miracles goes a very long way.
Iām genuinely grateful to God for helping me realize this⦠again.
A few days before Christmas, I was waiting for my usual Christmas bonus from Inflect Innovations, but it didnāt come. The company didnāt hit its targets this year. One key member of the marketing team went silent (perhaps got another job), and although replacing her crossed our minds, we tried to manage with what we had. We did our best, but it wasnāt enough. We simply didnāt hit the numbers, and thatās why the bonus didnāt happen.
Iām a hopeful person. No matter how things turn out, I usually believe something will come through eventually. But this statement helped me understand a hard truth: sometimes things just donāt go as planned.
It reminded me of an old Medium article I wrote years ago. Funny enough, someone (me) who once wrote about making miracles happen had temporarily forgotten his own system, sitting around hoping for a credit alert that might never come.
That realization brought clarity.
Iāve written two articles on Medium that touch on this exact mindset:
If you ever feel like it, check them out. Re-reading those words reminded me of who Iāve always been: relentless, fearless even when scared, and willing to go all out for what I want.
Statement 2: If You Donāt Sell Something, You Wonāt Have More Money
These days, my process is simple: I ask God questions, think deeply, get answers, do my research, then implement.
Earlier today, I was watching the WeWork series, and one thing stood out clearly: whether you like sales or not, you must be able to sell something.
If a company earns money but doesnāt reinvest to generate more income, it eventually goes bankrupt. That single idea shifted my entire perspective on money.
Now, whenever I receive funds, whether from PASTE or Cre8fast ā my next thought is always, āHow do I multiply this?ā āHow do I keep the sales coming?ā
This mindset shift isnāt easy, but Iām practicing it daily. And honestly, Iām impressed by what 2025 has given me mentally. If you havenāt read my 2025 review yet, you should.
Itās my biggest sign of progress.
Right now, Iām still awake, waiting till 1 a.m. so I can watch Volume 2 of Stranger Things. For now, Iāll post this and continue watching WeWork.
Before I go, I want to say something personal: this is kind of my first Christmas alone (single). At some point, I felt lonely, but I let it go because everything about it felt new.
I scrolled through Instagram reels all day until this evening, when I switched to watching WeWork. I later got bored enough to do something fun with my personal website. I added dark and light mode that automatically switches based on time: light mode from 8 a.m., dark mode at night. Then I went further and added seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Right now, my website is literally snowing š¤£š¤£š¤£
I love it.
Not as much as I love the idea of owning a private jet though ā man, my love for private jets and yachts keeps growing. But letās not jinx it š¤£š¤£
I hope youāre enjoying your holidays. Whatever you choose to do, do it fully. Have fun ā a lot of it. This is a long break; work resumes Monday, and the year ends in just a few days.
So relax. Enjoy yourself.
Merry Christmas šš
