It’s been a while here, I know. I am sorry for the silence, but I am back now. My birthday was really quiet this year.

Lately, I have been pouring my energy into building my brand and agency. I dropped the freelancer mindset and embraced the journey of being a tech entrepreneur. These days, I read more books, explore new ideas, and continue learning every single day. I take notes for later and brainstorm constantly. And no, I am not all work. I still enjoy watching movies and getting good sleep. Movies are my comfort because I never really had many hobbies to begin with.

Now that I am 29, one thing I am certain of is this; I want to clock age 30 in a grand way. I still have more than nine months to go, and I plan to use that time intentionally. I will be using this space as an accountability space to keep track of my progress. I started The Pax Company, a software agency, and we already have three solid product contracts we will be launching this year. I am building the right team around it and learning that I need to get out there more; to network, to build partnerships, and to close the right deals. I have realized I cannot do it all on my own, and that is okay.

For Afriheals Careers, I have been slowly stepping back from doing regular online teachings and mentorships. Instead, I now host short webinars, sometimes free, sometimes paid. Focused on key topics that matter to tech beginners and growing professionals. I am also building a small volunteer team to support this effort.

Outside of that, I am co-founding two promising startups. One of them will be built entirely by my team at The Pax Company. I also started a newsletter for founders called Hustle Hive, available on Substack and LinkedIn. On top of everything, I am back in school for a PGD on weekends, and plan to dive straight into an MBA right after that. And whenever I get a breather, I use that time to record and produce new courses for people who want to learn from me.

My approach now is to work smart, not hard. That is how I grow. Every day I remind myself that no one is going to chase or beat me if I do not get something done. Burnout and overwhelm may come, but quitting is not an option. Age 30 is around the corner, and I plan to walk into it like a firestorm.

I have even been thinking about starting a YouTube channel as an extension of my personal brand. I am not sure yet, but it is definitely in the picture, probably once I wrap up the pending plans, hopefully next year.

It all feels like a lot, but honestly, it is not too much for my mind to carry. As I write this, it is 12:45 am and my eyes are wide open. I am still researching, still thinking, and still plotting how to scale the ventures in front of me. If I could build businesses for clients as a freelancer, then I owe it to myself to build mine.

This is no longer the era of freelancer flexibility. This is entrepreneur mode. I know it will not be easy. I have learned to celebrate small wins, and I no longer panic when things do not work. I embrace failure and welcome feedback. You never truly know what you are capable of until you try. I tried. And believe me when I say this, I am extraordinary.

You can take a chance on yourself too. By the way, how is it going?
